The pressure levels that are used make them among the more strong pressure washers available. A typical diesel powered washer can attain pressure levels of up to 5000psi. This is greater than that of the typical 4000psi that is used in a gasoline powered pressure washer. It makes for a better option for heavy duty cleaning.
The life of the pumps used here is longer than that of other washers. The diesel washer can last for more than eight hours each day in terms of use. This can even last for eight hours for multiple days in a row if needed, thus making this more durable.
The materials that the washer is made out of will also be stronger on average. This is with the intention of being able to handle the strength that the washer creates. Metallic wands and steel nozzle tips are general features of strong pressure washers like this.
It should be noted that the tank capacity for this type of washer will be less than that of gasoline washers. Whereas a typical gasoline powered pressure washer will have a fuel capacity of eight or nine quarts the diesel one will have a capacity of about five or six quarts. The strength of the washer will more than offset the lack of capacity though.
Also, since it is going to be more powerful and will use diesel this type of washer will be more expensive. To buy one of these washer one will have to pay at least six thousand dollars on average. However, one can just rent a diesel powered pressure washer for a day or two. It will cost more to rent it though.
